Muscle Group: Biceps

High Pulley Lying Cable Curls develop and shape the biceps, particularly the height of the biceps peak. Cables will provide us constant resistance throughout this exercise. High Pulley Lying Cable Curls provide more isolation than Standing Cable Curls and hit your biceps from a different angle.

  1. Go over to a high pulley and attach a straight or EZ short bar to the cable extension.
  2. Either get on the ground or on a bench and lie all the way back.
  3. Now with the cable fully extended, simply curl the bar until it reaches the top of your forehead. At the top of the motion, squeeze your biceps and then slowly allow the bar to make its way back up.
